Methodology

Candidate vote totals come from the City of Winnipeg’s official 2026 results by polling subdivision. Percentages on this site are each candidate’s share of reported candidate votes in the selected contest and area.

In multi-seat school trustee contests, voters may select more than one candidate. Those percentages are not percentages of ballots cast or of eligible voters.

Map shading uses the 2026 Polling Subdivision Units dataset. School trustee contests are framed using the subdivision identifiers present in that contest’s official rows. That geography can cross municipal council wards and is not a separate official trustee polygon layer.

Acclaimed contests are labelled as acclaimed. Zero competitive vote totals are not presented as ordinary election outcomes.

Some official totals include votes reported outside the City of Winnipeg. Written tables use those official totals; the map colours only subdivisions with geographic boundaries in the city dataset.
